London Watercolours
I started sketching and drawing during lock down. Northcote road drawings and prints started as a longing memory during all those weeks in the house. Drawing those stores was in a way the reassurance that everything would be ok.
Later, some animals “took over” my drawings. When asked “why leopards and zebras on the streets? There are none in London..”, well, that it is my vision of London: a place where one can be themselves and no one will look at you. A true melting pot of races, styles and cultures.
